Small 2“-2″ Fitting Copper Onion Head/Helmet

This Copper onion head/helmet, Fits 2″ bottom ferule with 2″ top ferrule. These beautiful units are stunning once fully polished and would make a beautiful addition to any still.

The purpose of this onion head/helmet is for better separation of ethanol with other chemicals. The principle is with the changing of diameter/volume inside the onion head/helmet, the heavier molecule has a slower speed for going up while the lighter molecule will go faster than others thus leave the heavier molecule(mainly water) in lower position.

 Designed to carry the weight of a heavy 2″ modular still on top of it, or a copper dome with 2″ fitting.

Made of 99.9% pure copper.
