This 2" tri-clover sight glass Extension kit will be used to extend the still spirits Turbo 500 condenser with tri-clover fitting/clamps with a sanitary sight glass.
The sight glass can hold several copper mesh rolls which can play as catalytic coppers for distillation, or you can take them out and use the sight glass as Gin basket to hold botanicals.
Instead of using a stainless steel Mesh Screen PTFE (Teflon) or silicone sieve, the upgraded version replaced the PTFE sieve to a 51mm stainless steel sieve to hold either the copper scrubber or botanicals. The reason for this change is mainly because the PTFE had difficulties clamping together due to the thickness of PTFE. With this change it will be more easier to put all parts on and the stainless steel sieve is more durable and reliable than the sieve.
Meanwhile, with the extension height, the distillation will be improved. Further more, it will make you easier to add more 2" pipe/fittings on top of sight glass if you want.
